Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald Movie Review

One of my FAVORITE things in life is Harry Potter. I read the books when I was in 8th grade, and they are 10 times better than the movies. JK Rowling is also one of my favorite authors. Something else that she wrote was the Fantastic Beasts series. The Crimes of Grindelwald recently came out in theaters, and.... let's just say it was a lot. I liked the movie, but there were a few plot holes, as I will point out. WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW for The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The Crimes of Grindelwald is a good movie, but every good movie has its flaws. There are plenty of new characters, such as Bunty, Theseus Scamander, Leta Lestrange, Yusuf Kama, and Nicolas Flamel (Yes, the creator of the sorcerer's/philosopher's stone). One of the minor plot holes in the movie is the ability to apparate on Hogwarts' grounds. Now, every Potterhead knows that even Dumbledore himself couldn't do that in the Harry Potter series, but I have a theory. Since the movie is set in the past, this probably hadn't been set up yet. My favorite new character is the alchemist Nicolas Flamel. Some people think that his cameo was unnecessary, I thought it was hilarious. I did feel like Nagini's character was a little overplayed in the trailer. I expected to see more about the character, but instead she was just basically tossed aside!
